Greg Smith (Associate Minister)
Greg Smith has served as a minister at Columbia Avenue since 2008 and currently fulfills all of the preaching and pastoral care duties of the senior minister. One of his goals in ministry is to help people understand that a church is an organization which exists primarily for the purpose of serving those who are outside of the body of Christ. Greg strives to help our church family realize that true Christianity exists when we live our human life so as to allow those we come in contact with to see Christ living through us. He is currently pursuing an MA in Christian Ministry from the Hazelip School of Theology at Lipscomb University in Nashville, which he plans to complete in 2013. Greg met his wife, Stacy, while attending Middle Tennessee State University and they have now been married for 20 years. Stacy is a guidance counselor at nearby Hart County High School and together they have a teenage son, Barrett, who attends Glasgow High School.
