Ministers:

Van Robarts (Minister)

Van has been the preaching minister at Columbia Avenue Church of Christ since the fall of 1993. Van has preached for churches in Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, and California before coming to Kentucky.

Van's primary responsibilities include preaching and teaching. He works with all of the ministries of the church to encourage our members to grow in love and service to the Gospel. Van also spends lots of time with our members and elders to plan and learn how we may better serve our church family, community, and God's good world.

Van has been married to Pat for 28 years. Pat is a school teacher and for many years directed the Children's Worship on Sunday morning. Van and Pat have two children. Lauren is a sophomore at David Lipscomb University. Grant is a senior at Glasgow High School.

Van received his bachelor's degree from Freed-Hardeman College and his MA and MDiv from Harding University Graduate School of Religion. He is currently completing a degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
